There are also some wonderful crystal clear springs near by where one can observe Manatees in large number during the winter months. A number of state parks that takes one back in time are within 30 minutes in addition to ones just minutes away.
One can rent a kayak or even a house boat to check out the intracoastal or explore the creeks and streams that meandor in the area. |
