| Property Description |
Experience the beauty and tranquility of Fort Myers Beach from a furnished private home on the canal.
Bring the boat and enjoy the direct access to the Gulf of Mexico or take a trip to the many islands around us. For relaxing evenings or just to cool off from the hot sunny days, enjoy the heated (optional) pool in a screened in lanai. Our home is furnished in casual island style just 700 feet from 7 miles of beautiful sandy beaches where you can have a cold drink at the tiki bar while watching the dolphins or stroll the island for shells.
This 2BR beach cottage provides you a king size bed in one room including a TV and telephone with answering machine. The guest room has two twin beds. You have a fully equipped kitchen and adjoining utility room with washer and dryer.
Located at the southern end of the island, this house is the perfect retreat for couples and families. Close enough to water sports, fishing and shopping. Everything is within reach yet this home is in a quiet area with residents, Royal palm trees and warm ocean breezes. At the end of the street is Charley's Boat House Grill which has been a local favorite for over 25 years. |

Outdoor furnitureFort Myers Beach occupies all of what is known as
Estero Island, jt 10 miles from both downtown Fort Myers and the
Southwest Florida International Airport. The island?s south side
faces the Gulf of Mexico and has miles of beaches. However, the best
beach in the area is on Lover?s Key in the state park on the island.
This is an excellent place if you are at all interested in nature as
there are many birds living in the mangrove forests here. This also
happens to be a great spot for shelling. The Estero Bay side of the
island is best viewed by boat or kayak, either of which may be
rented
in the area. There are many uninhabited keys within the bay that
play
host to hundreds of different species of birds, plants and mammals.
If you are interested in fishing you can simply cast a line from the
piers and docks here in Fort Myers Beach or you can arrange a
charter
fishing guide to help you land the big one. If you are interested in
seeing the coastline a bit more some popular day trips include
Sanibel and Captiva Islands to the north or Naples to the south. The
shopping and dining scene on Fort Myers Beach is excellent. There
are
many shopping plazas along the island from Times Square in the north
to Lover?s Key in the south. And after a by day enjoying Estero
Island you can watch the sunset in the western sky from your own
vacation home in Fort Myers Beach.
On a Canal; Bring the boat!
Screened in back patio
All the myriad activities of the island can be reached with a short
ride by the local trolley for only .25!
No smoking in the hoe, please.
